GLADES PALE
A balanced pale ale, this beer was originally one of our owner Dan's homebrew recipes. Citra and Amarillo hops give a perfect blend of citrus and tropical fruit - this beer smells almost as good as it tastes. Take a 4-pack home for those hot summer arvos.

HAZY DAYS MID
Our mid-strength may only be 3.5% ABV but it sure doesn't taste like it! This beer is all about massive tropical fruit flavour and aroma. Perfect for long summer days. Picking up gold medals at Australia’s two major beer competitions, we’re proud to say this is one of the best mid-strengths in the country.

HEFEWEIZEN
This traditional Bavarian wheat beer is an excellent breakfast beer (and it’s also highly delightful in the afternoon, evening and at night). In addition to the mouthfeel and flavour of the wheat malt, the specialised yeast produces wonderful banana and clove flavours.

NEON NEIPA
Paying homage to the neon factory that used to stand on the site of our brewery, this New England IPA is packed with dazzling hop character. No fewer than four hop varieties – two Australian, two American – provide layers of juicy fruit character, starting with tropical pineapple and finishing with citrusy lime notes. A proper haze bomb.

RED TAPE IPA
This red IPA is all about the balance of rich malty sweetness and dank hoppy bitterness. German specialty malts give a depth of roasted colour and flavour, while American Cascade and Centennial hops provide a punch of citrusy bitterness.

SCHWARZBIER

Dark beer drinkers and lager lovers, unite! This dark German lager truly provides the best of both worlds. Restrained use of chocolate malt gives the beer its colour and roasted character, with hints of toffee, coffee and chocolate. But with the clean fermentation and conditioning of a lager, it's still light and finishes oh so smooth.

PUTNEY PILS

An all-time classic style, the pils is the ultimate expression of the brewer’s craft. Good brewing technique and simple, quality ingredients come together to deliver something subtle yet surprisingly complex.

This beer is no exception. The malt bill is 100% organic NSW pilsner and we also use just a single type of German hop. Then it's all about good brewing processes, a healthy, clean fermentation, and conditioning time - this beer sits in the tank for two months until it's clear and just right. The result is a light, crisp body and pronounced floral hop bitterness.

ANNIVERSARY ALE

Brewed to celebrate our first birthday, the Anniversary Ale is a traditional ESB (Extra Special Bitter), an English style made famous by Fuller’s brewery in London.

Given it’s for a special occasion, we really pulled out all the stops for this one. Beginning with a variety of English-style and specialty malts, plus a decoction mash, to build deep colour and biscuity toffee flavours. Two different strains of English ale yeast then contributed esters of fruit and spice during fermentation. And finally we generously dry-hopped the beer with Challenger hops to balance out all that maltiness and add a nice orange-peel character.

Although there’s a lot going on, it’s a balanced and drinkable beer that goes down smoooooooth (thanks in part to a touch of nitro added at the end of the carbonation process).

FINGER LIME AND MANDARIN SOUR

This is a wheat-based sour beer, to which we added fresh mandarin juice and 15kg of actual finger limes (painstakingly peeled by hand). Starting with a whack of citrus from the finger lime, with hints of mint and eucalyptus, followed by mandarin sweetness, and ending with a delicious wheaty malt finish, we’re sure this is unlike anything you’ve tried before. Hopefully, you’ll love it as much as we do!

COFFEE PORTER

The third and final release in our dark beer winter series, this coffee porter fits snugly in between the lighter schwarzbier and heavier oatmeal stout. We threw a whole heap of different dark malts at this beer to develop layers of sweet, toasted goodness. Then we turned to the gurus at @samplecoffee to roast a specialty batch of beans to complement the malt profile, and added 12kgs directly into the fermentation tank.

The result is a bright coffee character, with hints of chocolate (and maybe a little raspberry - let us know what you think!) that dominates the aroma but is balanced out nicely on the palate by the sweet malt character.

XPA

One of Australia's favourite beer styles, the XPA is all about hop expression and drinkability. A restrained malt body allows the Aussie Enigma hops to shine with characters of grape, berry and sweet melon. Saving most of the hops for whirlpool and dry hop additions keeps the bitterness in check, resulting in a beer that is light and sessionable but full of unique flavour.

OATMEAL STOUT

As with all good stouts, this beer is rich and full of roasted coffee and dark chocolate notes. So what’s this ‘oatmeal’ thing all about? No porridge involved, we promise. It simply means we add oats to the mash alongside the malted and roast barley. The oats give the beer a silky mouthfeel and provide a beautiful sweetness to balance out the bitterness of those dark malts.
